Our client offers solutions and technologies for airports and air traffic services around the world, aiming to make flying safe, efficient, and environmentally friendly. We are currently offering this job opportunity for the location in Graz.Senior IT Project Manager (m/f/d)

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Leading complex software projects to ensure they meet customer requirements and industry standards
• Developing comprehensive project strategies involving key stakeholders and verifying technical feasibility
• Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and managing client expectations
• Utilizing various tools and systems for project quality control assessment and maintenance
• Identifying and addressing potential risks, proactively resolving challenges, implementing necessary modifications, and maintaining up-to-date documentation
• Facilitating effective communication and collaboration among third-party vendors, regional delivery teams, and internal departments
• Mentoring junior project managers and aiding in the growth of a proficient project management team
• Assisting the sales team during the pre-sales phase by providing input on quotations and managing change requests in coordination with Sales

Skills Required:

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with focus on software delivery for safety-critical applications
• Demonstrated successful track record of leading and delivering large-scale projects
• Good understanding of air traffic control systems, airport operations, and related technologies
• Display exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of German is advantageous
• Skilled in handling multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic setting
• Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant project management credentials, which are highly valued

The minimum salary for this position, as per the IT collective agreement, is EUR 4,346 gross per month. However, there is a possibility of offering a higher salary based on your qualifications and professional experience.
